The primary purpose of this trip is to promote God's love for His people in Peru, South America. We are unabashedly a faith-based trip, and our witness and testimony of God's love is the most important thing we aim to share as we go. The way we accomplish our mission is through medical outreach. We gather teams of providers, nurses, and anyone who has a servant's heart to spread God's love in the Amazon jungle by setting up clinics and providing care where there may be no other medical care available.
These trips are typically run in the months of May or June. It is a two week mission trip.
Every year this will change with the cost of fuel, food, and medications, however each member is usually asked to raise about $3,000.
The cost of the trip covers everything from when we first get together as a team in the US until we fly home our separate ways. The only thing not covered would be personal expenses for souvenirs.
We require everyone be vaccinated or have medications for Covid, hepatitis B, yellow fever, and malaria.
This trip will take us up and down the tributaries of the Amazon river surrounding the cities of Iquitos and Nauta in Peru.
